Connecting via Zoom this morning, NWQROC held its monthly board meeting.

Local leaders from across the nine councils of NWQROC came together for our monthly board meeting.

Remote and regional community priorities on the agenda

Discussions on the agenda included the top issues and opportunities in our region and progression of key advocacy actions.

Up next for our group is the Western Queensland Alliance of Councils 2021 Assembly, proudly hosted in the North West this year in Richmond on 17-19 May. As part of the Alliance NWQROC has commissioned a Housing Study which is being undertaken by the Regional Australia Institute and the report will be included on the Assembly program.

Strategic planning is also underway and we approach the next Federal Election.
